Offering a variety of services, including: Holistic Hoopshops™, Holistic HOOPdance Retreats™, Holistic Hoopology™ courses, hoopdance classes, fire hoop playshops, private lessons, & teacher trainings. We provide flow tool demonstrations, ‘flow tool play environments’, and various performances (duets/solos/group shows) with an assortment of tools, specializing in hoops.
Participating in Festivals, Fairs, Expos, Private Events, Public Shows, Retreats, Special Occasions and Gatherings of all kinds.

-Holistic Hoop™- our trademark hoops, lovingly created by the crafty hands of the Holistic Hooping crew. Each one is infused with a combination of healing ingredients consisting of an array of crystals, stones, minerals, herbs, essential oils, and handwritten affirmations.
Our selection: The first-timers “I Can Do It!” Hoop™, (made in children’s sizes as well), Ground Hoop™ (represents Earth), Fly Hoop™(represents Air), Flow Hoop™ (represents Water), Flex Fire Hoop™ (real fire hoop), Kundalini Hoop™, Descending Chakras™ Hoop, Ascending Chakras™ Hoop, The 7-Chakra™ Hoops (Root, Belly, Solar, Heart, Throat, Third Eye, and Crown) and the Mayan Hoops™.
-Just a Hoop™- un-taped or lightly taped hoops with no infusions inside, made for those that want a regular practice hoop with ‘none of the special stuff’. Your Kripalu Holistic HOOPdance Retreat Facilitators:
Kandice Korves-Kaus- Founder, Holistic Hoopologist:
Founder of Holistic Hooping™, and co-author of Holistic Hoopology's first manifestation in text: "Primordial Spin: An Inter-Galactivation Guidebook". She combines a lifetime of dance training and performance experience with her Bachelors in Psychology, previous work as a CMT, training as a Conscious Color Sound & Aromatherapy Practitioner and her current studies of Nassim Haramein’s Unified Field Theory- to cultivate a philosophy/theory/modality integrating hoopdance with elements of psychology, metaphysics, and spirituality. It is her mission to share Holistic Hoopology's principles and spread the love of the hoop worldwide.
She is an inspirational visionary pioneer and has been a spiritual hoop warrior of the modern hoopdance movement since its’ current inception. She has facilitated countless classes, workshops, private lessons, retreats and fire hoop initiation ceremonies, and has introduced fire hooping to many well-known hoopers around the world, including Hooping.org's "Fire Hooper of the Year" Erin Shredder. For the past 10 years, she has performed and taught internationally, nationally and locally in Northern California, where she currently resides and works with her husband and partner Andrew Kaus.
Andrew Kaus- Co-Founder, Inventioneer:
Co-creator at Holistic Hooping™, he is the inventor, prototype engineer and manufacturing manager of the quality LED & lightweight Flex Fire Hoops that they offer. An all around technical genius, he creates innovative designs that are mirrored throughout the hoop community, and he is continuously progressing, bringing new tools towards new horizons!
His technical/mathematical knowledge and his ability to find solutions in any given situation fosters a unique approach to the hoop and dancing with it. Hence, his movement demonstrations, technical verbal input, and gentle patience during workshops have proven invaluable to many students. As a hoopdance performer he is energetic and playful, yet, graceful and mesmerizing to watch. Traveling internationally and nationally, alongside his wife & partner Kandice, he is a true testimony that men hoop too!

Meghan "The Kat" O'Brien
Meghan "tHe kAt" O'Brien has had a career as a professional hoop dancer, traveling internationally and nationally, since 2001. Her training in modern dance, yoga, acrobatics and juggling give her the ability to develop a wildly unique and fun hoop dance style. She has enjoyed sharing this style with several performance troupes, including; Groove Hoops (NYC) and High Jinks Dance Co. (Columbus, OH). She has also been a featured hoop mentor at Hoop Camp since 2007.
A Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and over 10 years of teaching and coaching soccer, Meghan has a tremendous amount of experience in the field. She is now incorporating new wisdom into her teachings by sharing elements of her current studies of massage therapy, aerial silks and her recent Jivamukti Yoga Certification. She is happy to be joining Holistic Hooping at Kripalu, to fulfill her mission, to raise consciousness through Hoopdance!
