the MERKABA flight hoop™

Explanation of the various options for the illumihoop:

DIAMETER OF THE HOOP: Choose your preferred outside diameter (O.D.): our standard sizes are 38-inch (small), 40-inch (medium) or 42-inch (large); or we can custom make any size you want.

TUBING SIZE: Flight Hoops now come in your choice of 1", 3/4" and 7/8" tubing size.

WEIGHT: The ‘standard size’ hoops (with 3/4-inch tubing) weigh in at a mere 14ounces. -For $10 extra you may add a ‘counter balance weight’ that is placed on the opposite side of the hoop from the battery. This helps ‘even out’ the weight for a smoother spin or can give you that little bit of ‘extra weight’ you might want.

CHARGING: Each hoop comes with a 120/240 volt AC Global Smart Charger (wall adapter). It will recharge the hoop from completely empty to a full charge in 2.5-4-hours (time varies depending on which illumihoop specifications you choose).

POWER BUTTON: Each hoop has an on/off button that is 'set into' the hoop, so the top of the button is slightly below the surface of the tubing (which means the hoop will not turn on/off unless you intend it to).

LIFE SPAN: The ‘standard sizes’ (non-collapsible) Illumihoop™ will last about 4-5 hours if left on constantly. If you turn it on for an hour, turn it off to go to another music area, turn it on for another half hour, and so on, the hoop will last you all night. There have been some festivals where clients have said they have played with their hoop 3 nights in a row without having to charge it again.

TAPE ACCENT: Each Illumihoop comes with two spirals of tape.
One spiral is a reflective- holographic, prismatic, or mirror tape to add some ‘flash’ to your hoop.
The other is a spiral of durable, grip-able, cloth tape of any color of your choice: red, UV orange, UV yellow, UV green, blue, purple, UV pink, turquoise, grey, brown, burgundy, black or white.

You can also make your Illumihoop™ collapsible!
Cut into 4 pieces- each section has its’ own battery and on/off button. They come with a modified charger to plug in all the sections at once. The collapsible illumihoops are made with aluminum ‘push-button’ connectors that are safe, secure, and easy-to-use, with no extraneous plastic pieces to loose. When collapsed down, they easily fit into a yoga mat bag for ease in travel.

4-piece collapsibles are $90 more than the original ‘solid hoop’ price. (ex. Slow or Fast Rainbow (AURA or PSYCHE= $290)
Collapsibles weigh in around 13-ounces to 1 pound 11 ounces, depending on the hoop size and options.

re-chargeable, collapsible, & made with Flex Spines™…this hoop has it all!
It is versatile- use it as a daytime practice hoop, take the spines off to play with an LED hoop, add the spines and don’t turn the lights on to play with a fire hoop, or turn on the lights and light up the fire to take flight! Then, collapse it all down to take it anywhere with you, even on that overseas flight!

The Flight Hoop consists of ordering the Illumihoop™ of your choice and then adding the number of spines you want. Each spine is an additional $20 on top of the Illumihoop price.

-If you choose to add our flexible fire spines to your collapsible Illumihoop to create one of our special FLIGHT HOOPS™, then 5 spines will add 12 ounces and 6 spines will add 14.5 ounces to the 1lb./11oz. This means you can have a collapsible FIRE and LIGHT hoop that weighs LESS THAN 3 POUNDS!
